Company History
McKey Perforating has a legacy that spans over 150 years, beginning in 1860. The company opened its New Berlin, Wisconsin location in 1972. In 1982, McKey acquired Toepfer and Sons, Inc., a perforating services firm established in Milwaukee in 1855 and the oldest perforator in the U.S. In 2000, McKey built and opened a second manufacturing facility, in Manchester, TN. This operation not only houses state-of-the-art perforating services equipment for both coil and sheet work, but also has a one-of-a-kind perforated, laser welded custom tube mill.
On February 1, 2012, McKey Perforating was acquired by Reliance Inc. through its subsidiary, Diamond Manufacturing Company, the largest perforator in North America.
